Miami Lakes announced it will again offer a YMCA Summer Camp Program from June 8 through August 14, Mondays to Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
On Saturday, March 14, YMCA of Greater Miami will hold a Super Saturday Sign-Up Day from 9 a.m. to noon at the starting point of the Town’s Scavenger Hunt at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, where the $40 Summer Camp registration fee will be waived.
The program is open to children ages 5 to 12 years old, as well as 13 to 15-year-olds who can participate in the Leaders in Training program. Young campers are offered a sports and dance component and can enjoy a wide spectrum of events including drama, singing, art, outdoor activities, project-based learning, book club, weekly field trips and more.
