Youth Arts Day & Music Fest 2014 with the theme Dance! Draw! Dream! is a community collaboration celebrating creativity, youth artists and diversity while creating awareness of Miami-Dade County’s rich cultural resources.
The collaboration is a three-week long visual and literary art exhibition which opens with a day long series of youth performances and art from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, at the Deering Estate at Cutler, 16701 S.W. 72 Avenue in Miami.
Founding members of the Living Artist Concert Series and the Deering Estate’s Artists in Residence have offered their time and talent to act as volunteer judges to award winning visual art and writing submissions. Performing arts participation is non-competitive and is scheduled through the day on May 4. Art work will be on display through May 18.
