42nd Annual Veterans Day Parade set for Nov. 7

The Miami Lakes Veterans Parade, a 42-year tradition, is planned for Sunday, Nov. 7. The 2020 parade was a less festive event with fewer participants. Spectators were encouraged to distance themselves from each other, and a drone video of the march was livestreamed on the town website allowing folks to watch remotely. Giving Gators hosts Thanksgiving food drive

The Giving Gators charitable organization is collecting canned goods to help complete family meal boxes which will be distributed before Thanksgiving.
