  Did you know the Town of Miami Lakes has ordinances in the Land Development Code which regulates the location and height of hedges on non-zero-lot-line residential dry and lakefront lots? As part of the Miami Marlins Seniors Free Ticket Thursday campaign, more than 50 seniors from Miami Lakes attended the July 31 game against the Cincinnati Reds. Lower water pressure expected

  Water pressure in Miami Lakes will be impacted to the middle of September due to a Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) project which will repair portions of the 54-inch water main on Red Road (West 4th Avenue) in Hialeah.  WASD will shut down the water main and the repairs will be made in stages along Red Road from the Preston Water Treatment Plant located at West 2nd Avenue and West 13th Street, to West 56th Street.
