M-DCPS new menu items

  Miami-Dade County Public Schools unveiled new menu items for students starting school in the 2018-2019 school year. Although M-DCPS always offers vegetarian and vegan items, the menu has been expanded to offer more variety. New options include plantbased vegan chili, cilantro and chipotle brown rice and more. Using locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, M-DCPS will still be offering free breakfast for students.

  Hialeah-Miami Lakes High’s CTE teacher Ray Parris won the first NFTE Model Teacher Challenge, a highly competitive contest for educators across the U.S., who teach NFTE’s entrepreneurship courses to middle and high school students.
