Monsignor Edward Pace High School marks 50th commencement

On May 24 Monsignor Edward Pace High School’s 50th group of seniors graduated at Miami-Dade County Auditorium with all the pomp and circumstance of five decades of tradition.  Dressed in their scarlet caps and gowns, they joined the ranks of thousands of Spartans who proudly call themselves "alumni." They are both third-year cheerleaders and have performed together at Disney, at Miami Heat games, town activities and other events. On Monday, May 20, Hialeah Miami Lakes High School walked away with seven awards at the Fairchild Challenge Award Ceremony including the Bronze Fairchild Challenge Award along with a small grant to support and enhance environmental activities at the school such as the native butterfly garden.
