Town plans to develop leased parcel for a dog park

   In the town’s effort to build a dog park, Miami Lakes has secured a lease for a FDOT parcel, located at the south end of N.W. 77 Court, which is suitable for dog activities. The Town of Miami Lakes has gone pink during the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each night, Town Hall is beautifully illuminated in pink and throughout the day, lobby lights are the shade of pink. Mayor Wayne Slaton, councilmembers and town staff wore pink to show their support at the October 14 Council meeting.
