The Coding Doctors Kids Club will host a fundraising event on May 21 at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Ben & Jerry’s located in the Royal Oaks Plaza. Enjoy some pizza and ice cream for a great cause. Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25) recognized Mater Academy Charter High School sophomore Melanie Gonzalez as the 25th Congressional District’s winner of the 2019 Congressional Art Competition “An Artistic Discovery.” Gonzalez’s painting, titled “Sunkised” (displayed on the wall), was chosen out of 66 entries submitted from 12 participating schools.
