Miami Lakes K8 Center's team of present and future coders, Armando Diaz and Daniel Simeon, won first place in the Mobile App Competition at the Innov@te Career and Technical Education Challenge December 1, at Miami Dade College. They competed not only against middle schools, but also high schools, and came out on top.

On Saturday, December 1, Monsignor Edward Pace (PACE) welcomed back former Spartan baseball players to the school’s first annual alumni softball game.
