  Flavia Cuervo, a life-long Miami Lakes resident who attended Miami Lakes K-8 and then graduated from Miami Lakes Educational Center's (MLEC) Cambridge Academy, recently graduated from Harvard University. At MLEC, Cuervo attended the journalism strand and was the top student in her class, a Gates Millennium Scholar, a Mas Family Scholar, a Silver Knight nominee and editor-inchief of The Harbinger, MLEC’s student-run newspaper.

Pace High School inducts 15 new students into the Spanish Natl. Honor Society

  On June 1, Monsignor Pace High School (Pace) held an induction ceremony for the new members of their National Spanish Honor Society (NSHS). Barbara Goleman student Gabriella Mestre organizes fight against homelessness
