Autism acceptance is advocates’ goal

     April is Autism Awareness Month, and it is also Autism Acceptance month, a message shared in recent years to include those in society who are diagnosed with the neurological condition.

     The HDS Foundation in Miami Lakes provides school-based programs to students with diverse abilities so that they may become self-sufficient and attend school or vocational training.

     Its home in the Crescent Pointe building has a banner in front to share its message. 

     Also, The Graham Companies is shining blue lights during April on the building façade, and also on the landmark oak tree on Main Street. 

     Clear Channel Outdoor partnered with HDS to advertise its campaign in Miami-Dade County to be aware, understanding and kind.
