On Monday, August 19, the Miami Lakes Bridge club participated in an American Bridge Club League (ABCL) District 9 Silver Point duplicate bridge game.
The North/South team came in the number one position with players Debra Fream and Pat Bloomberg with a 60 percent game.
The East/West team made up of Betty Battles and Eugenia Weaver came in first with 59 percent game.
Also earning points were Helen Schor and Rosalyn Lipson who tied with Donald Russell and Dorothy Sheffman for second place for the North/South team, and Carol Seiderman and Ulla Woolhiser who came in second for the East/West team.
The Miami Lakes Bridge club congratulated the winners for their success.
The Miami Lakes Bridge club meets every Monday at 11:45 a.m. at the Mary Collins Community Center located at 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
