Five residents of Miami Lakes were among the many South Florida students who were recently named Burger King Scholars and received Burger King McLamore Foundation scholarships.
The local students were Natalie Balmori, Elizabeth M. Bello, Joseph M. Cabauy, Nicholas A. Fernandez, and Janelle Gonzalez.
