The Women of Miami Lakes Congregational Church, “Doers of the World,” will host their 8th annual Spring Tea at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, in the Fellowship Hall located at 6701 Miami Lakeway South.
“A Rainbow Spring Tea” is this year’s theme. A variety of teas, light tasty bites and decadent desserts will be served and guests will be entertained with music, songs, a dance performance and a fashion show highlighting the colors of the rainbow.
Suggested donation for tickets is $15 per person ($5 for ages 10 and under) for the popular event. Proceeds will benefit scholarships for eligible graduating Miami Lakes Congregational Church high school seniors.
