New Testament Baptist Church’s AWANA Club presented its 2013-2014 awards last month to its “Cubbies” (4k-5k and 1st grade), “Sparks” honors to 2nd graders, and T&T “Truth and Training” awards to 3rd to 6th grade students. The program is under the direction of Pastor Jorge Granda.
Miles Murray and Isabella Rodriguez received the highest award given in the “Sparks” group for completing all three handbooks and review books in their age division.
Appleseed Book Awards for “Cubbies” were presented to Kimberly Martinez, Aidan Randolf, Ian Jose Townsend, Jasmine Horn, Josiah Moreira, Jonathan Rodriguez-Corral, Robert Mathieu, Sabrina Gonzalez, Samantha Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Christopher Martinez, Jordan Corbitt, Matthew Herrera, Justin Rueda, Aaron Zeggi, Jacob Moreira and Jayden Santos.
For “Sparks” students, 1st Book Awards were presented to Ryan Gomez, Sarah Gomez, Crystal Robinson and David Montgomery; 2nd Book Awards went to Noah Garcia, Nathan Rodriguez, Ethan Suarez and Zoe Townsend; and 3rd Book Awards went to Isabella Rodriguez and Miles Murray.
T&T 1st Book Awards for boys were presented to Jason Murray, Mark Todd and Adrien Felicano. T&T 1st Book Awards for girls were presented to Emily Grace Matilla and Giovanna Munhoz.
