The NFL honored Monsignor Edward Pace High School with a commemorative golden football in celebrating school alumni Kayvon Webster’s pro career, as he is preparing to play in his second Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos cornerback played in Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.
The football commemorates the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl, as the NFL recognized Pace as a member of the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll for its role in developing and supporting the career of the All-Pro cornerback.
“Through your football program, your school is building men of high character by instilling values in your student athletes,” the NFL stated. “The NFL is grateful to you and your community and honored to partner with you in making champions on and off the field.”
This Sunday, Webster and the Broncos will make their second trip in three years to the Super Bowl in Santa Monica, California to take on the Carolina Panthers.
