Miami Lakes Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) will host a Community Forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, inside Council chambers at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.

At NIC’s January meeting, assistant Town Manager Andrea Agha provided an overall presentation of the Town’s Strategic Plan. The April 21 meeting will focus on the first two initiatives – Mobility and Economic Development – presented by Town planner Brandon Schaad, and Community Engagement and Outreach director Nicole Singletary.

The next quarterly forum is scheduled for Thursday, July 21, and will focus on Beautification and Sustainability.

NIC’s mission is to recommend, promote, and create projects and activities that will beautify and improve all the Town’s neighborhoods in a collaborative and comprehensive manner.
