Town of Miami Lakes is extending an opportunity to the community to nominate a deserving individual to be the Grand Marshal for the 35th annual Veteran’s Day Parade on Sunday, November 9.
Nominations are due on by Friday, October 17, and will be reviewed by the Veterans Committee.
The selection criteria includes:
• Nominees must be in good standing in the community;
• Nominees should be persons who have displayed outstanding service, pride and commitment to the community, county, state and/or country;
• Nominees should be able and willing to carry out the function of the Grand Marshal for the parade and
• Proof of Honorable Service in the Armed Forces is required.
