Town of Miami Lakes will host a Town Hall meeting at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 10, in the Council Chambers at 6601 Main Street.
An initiative by Councilmember Tony Lama, proposed at the October 14 Council meeting, provides local restaurants an opportunity to both learn what regulations are currently in place, and also allow them to voice their opinions and concerns on how the Town can better facilitate outdoor dining.
“I made a commitment to the businesses and residents to make Miami Lakes a great place to do business with an abundance of options to unwind and enjoy life,” said Lama. “It’s been a common request from residents that they want to stay, dine, and spend their money in Miami Lakes. I believe it is our job to collaborate with the business community to make this happen.
