The Graham Companies has named Alina Molina vice president of Human Resources.
Molina, of Miami Lakes, is a member of the management team and guides the company’s human resources operations from its Main Street headquarters.
“I’ve lived in Miami Lakes for 25 years, and the last thing I ever expected was to be working in my own community, in my own backyard,” Molina said. “I’m thrilled. I couldn’t be happier working for the Grahams.”
The Graham Companies is privately held and has residential holdings, hospitality businesses, shopping centers and other real estate interests, as well as pecan, angus beef and dairy farms.
“It’s a privilege to be a part of this organization, the different lines of business, it’s all so interesting,” Molina said.
She also noted how the firm’s leaders include members of the fourth generation of the Graham family, longevity that is also a trait among employees and includes some whose parents have also contributed to its success.
“That says so much to me about the culture,” Molina said. “I’m looking forward to continuing this great legacy here.”
Molina has held executive human resources positions at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach and in the hospitality industry, at Turnberry Associates in Aventura; the Fontainebleau resort in Miami Beach and Hyatt Regency Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale.
Molina graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and South Florida Hospitality Human Resources Association.
As a volunteer, Molina has supported the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Women’s Breast and Heart Initiative.
