Tips on preparing for an interview and a choice of movies are featured for Miami Lakes teens this month at “The Spot” Youth Center, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive East.
The Youth Activities Task Force (YATF) will conduct a workshop at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, to help youth successfully develop a professional resume and cover letter in addition to participating in a mock interview session.
The workshop is part of YATF’s Summer Youth Employment Initiative. Additional workshop will be held prior to the Job Fair in May.
Teens also have a chance to select their movies of choice for Movie Night at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
“The Spot” has posted a survey of 10 movie choices on its website, www.miamilakes-fl.gov/thespot and interested participants are asked to select their top three choices by Friday, March 4.
