Education Thursday, November 19, 2020

Educators and volunteers partnered with Monsignor Edward Pace High School to encourage STEM education for girls who attend St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School in Southwest Ranches.  The project is an effort between the schools and two Women in STEM Clubs. The clubs promote the learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics; Pace’s program also includes religion and the arts. The ‘Big Sister, Little Sister’ workshops are  virtual this year, with take home boxes of gear for the girls to perform three science experiments: a do-it-yourself rosary; a face mask and an architectural design.
