Members of the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes are putting the finishing touches on their annual fundraiser, Claws for Celebration, scheduled for April 26 at the Roberto Alonso Community Center in Miami Lakes, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Casa Valentina, Lotus House, Women’s Breast Health Initiative and Zonta International.
The Claws for Celebration event includes a stone crab dinner, dancing, and an opportunity to bid on auction items, all while helping advance the well-being of women locally and globally. The event also offers an opportunity to participate in a raffle with cash prizes of $500 and $1,000, as well as a 3 or 4 night cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line.
Large and small businesses are invited to sponsor the event starting at $100, and tickets to attend are $125 per person. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased online at www.zontamiamilakes.org, or by contacting the event coordinator Jan Hammond at 305-557-5879.
