Elderly Affairs Committee makes giving fun

It was Halloween Eve when members of the Elderly Affairs Committee donned costumes to give away more than 100 meals from Casavana Cuban Cuisine at the Windmill Gate Shopping Center to seniors in town. After the coronavirus shut down the committee’s weekly “bingo and lunch bunch” meetings, Committee Chair Dottie Wix organized weekly food distributions for those who can drive and pick up. Freebee delivered meals to those who are housebound....
