St. Thomas University waives ACT/SAT requirement for fall 2020

St. Thomas University has waived the requirement that high school students must submit SAT and ACT test scores when they apply to attend the school in the fall semester. The coronavirus epidemic has led to the closing of testing sites across the country, the school said. To welcome prospective fifth graders to Miami Lakes Middle School, students and staff hosted their very first color run. The Mater Lakes Academy’s robotics team competed at the Robotics Tower Take Over on Feb. 29 at Florida International University. Their robots “Swedish Fish” placed 20th and “Jolly Ranchers” placed 23rd out of 60 competing teams at the South Florida High School VEX Regional Championship. Two brothers who attend Monsignor Edward Pace High School participated in the Senate Page Program for a week during the legislative session that just ended in Tallahassee.
