Miami Lakes Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) is hosting its inaugural Home Decor and Improvement Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Home improvement and interior decor related businesses and organizations were invited to exhibit, disribute literature and provide information to the Miami Lakes community about their services.
In conjunction with the “I Heart Miami Lakes” campaign, the Town of Miami Lakes is holding two contests to promote civic pride. Round 4 in the “Capture a Miami Lakes Moment” photo contest is one of the featured contests.Residents are encouraged to show their love for Miami Lakes by taking photos of their favorite place of thing to do in the Town.
