Hialeah Gardens High School Gladiators marching band received first place in Class 3A at the 15th annual 2017 Falcon Sound Invitational at Flanagan High School in Broward County. The Gladiators were among 30 bands that competed in the event in five different classifications, including BOA, DCI, WGI and FFCC training and adjudicating. The Gladiators were lead by band director Carlos Franco during the event.

Bob Graham Education Center’s music teacher, Alejandro Fuenmayor, and three students, Alejandro Ugarte, Issabella Correchet-Lugo, and Brandon Picado, were selected to represent the school at the Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA) State Convention. The convention will take place in January 2018 and the students will be members of the prestigious 2018 FMEA All State Elementary Chorus.
