Pace High girl’s soccer team defeats Mater Lakes Academy

It was a victorious game for the Pace High School’s girl’s soccer team as they defeated local rival Mater Lakes Academy, 1-0, on November 30. Both teams played a strong match but it was the Spartans who edged out the Mater Lakes Bears in what was a conference game and Mater Lakes’ home opener. MLK-8 Center hosts popular Family Night

Last week, Miami Lakes K-8 Center teachers, administrators and staff planned a wonderful family night for students and their parents. Staff, families, and community members had the opportunity to gather at the school for an evening of books, food and quality time. Teachers read their favorite story books to groups of students throughout the campus. More than 500 families enjoyed an evening of reading and dining at a line-up of food trucks.
