Gregory F. Betancourt, local attorney and Miami Lakes resident, was honored by the 11th Judicial Circuit with the Ray H. Pearson Guardian Ad Litem award for outstanding service and dedication to the courts and the citizens of Miami-Dade County for his work as a Pro Bono Guardian Ad Litem. Betancourt, who grew up in Hialeah and moved to Miami Lakes in 2001, graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law and set up his law practice in Miami Lakes. His practice is dedicated to Family Law and Mediation Services. Betancourt, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, is pictured with his wife Melinda, and his daughter Olivia.
