Mater Lakes Academy’s Portuguese teacher and club sponsor Ana Paula Garcia held her first induction ceremony for the Portuguese Honor Societyon April 30. There was a total of 10 students inducted and all of them will be walking graduation with a yellow and green cord as they represent this accomplishment. Bob Graham Education Center congratulated Eva Oliveras who was a finalist in this year's Do the Write Thing Challenge and her teacher Jacqueline Arrojo-Hernandez. Oliveras, her parents and teacher attended the awards ceremony on May 22.
