Kiwanis International and UNICEF joined forces on a five year project to raise $110 million to eliminate maternal and neo-natal tetanus in third world countries. The project was appropriately named the ELIMINATE project and for just a $1.80 donation, a child or mother is vaccinated against tetanus. To date over $100 million has been raised towards meeting the goal.
