St. Thomas University’s pitcher Rene Arauz earned his fifth win of the season last week, as the No. 7 ranked Bobcats defeated the College of St. Joseph 6-8 at home. The Mater Lakes Academy graduate fanned a career record 10 batters and allowed three runs in seven innings pitched. Arauz (5-2) helped the Bobcats win their 30th game of the season and keeps them atop of the Sun Conference.
